ENTERTAIN YOUR KIDS FOR FREE

Sometimes on my site I tend to state the obvious, but on occasion the best things are hidden in plain sight.

When money is a bit tight and you can't afford to bring your kids to expensive play centres or buy them expensive toys, you can look to the toys that nature has provided.

I am lucky enough to live in Dublin in Ireland, an area that is surrounded by natural beauty only a short drive away. 


So if I stick my kids in the car and drive for a small journey I can uncover some great locations for play.

Recently we made our way to a beautiful lake on a rainy day, we found an area to pull the car in and there was a small safe beach like area for them to play on.

There are some things, that no matter how many times they play with them young kids will always love doing:

• Jumping in puddles
• Playing with sand and mud
• Running around and laughing

We stayed there for about two hours and that night they slept like logs.
